How Konversation compares with other graphical Linux IRC clients (KVirc, X-Chat)?

Pros

  • Supports per channel encoding
  • Auto detects unicode regardless of encoding
  • Integrates with Kontact & rest of KDE
  • Supports blowfish out of the box ( KVirc does this too )
  • Kick ass cool developers

Cons

  • No scripting engine
  • Slow on very busy channels due to QTextBrowser
